Goettl Tips For Keeping Pets Cool

Goettl Air Conditioning is based out of Las Vegas and they have a few tips for helping to keep people’s pets safe from the heat during the hot summer months. One thing to keep in mind is that concrete and asphalt often times are hotter than what they may appear to be. It is recommended that pets stay off of these types of surfaces during the summer months as much as possible to prevent them from burning the bottoms of their paws on the hot surfaces. To take precaution it is a good idea to look into adjusting a pet’s walk time to either during the morning or late evening to avoid burning their paws on the hot surfaces. Another way to help keep your pets cool during the hot temperatures is to have them groomed regularly. Having your pet groomed regularly goes a long way to helping them stay cool during the summer months and helps with better circulation for the pet.

Goettl Air Conditioning Provides Tips for Protecting Pets from the Heat

Another great tip is to apply pet-safe sunscreen to the ears and nose of the pet approximately thirty minutes before outside activity. Something else to keep in mind is that pets do not have the ability to sweat like humans do and because of this they are not able to keep cool as easily as humans can. Providing fresh cool water in a shaded area is optimal for your pet to stay hydrated and cool. A cool way to help your pet beat the summer heat is to supply them with a doggie pool.

This will be a fun way for them to cool off and play at the same time. It is also a good idea to keep pets out of the garage during the summer months because the hot temperatures can cause cars to leak anti-freeze which is something you do not want your pet to be exposed to. Things such as fertilizers can also propose a threat to your pet’s health so keeping them away from these products is best.

Solo Capital CEO Sanjay Shah Focuses On Autism Rocks

Solo Capital Management CEO Sanjay Shah has one of the most profitable hedge fund corporations in the U.K. Incorporated in 2011, the company has gone through a series of transitions to help it better serve its clients.

Before striking out on his own, Shah worked as an accountant in North London. His job was pretty monotonous, and he usually sat around the office for hours at a time performing tasks for clients. And then there was the commute, which Shah describes as from hell. The banking crisis of 2008 was a turning point for him. He ended up losing his job and was forced to find something else.

Shah then started a small brokerage firm out of a tiny office. He hired a few people to help him run the office, and business started to grow. Before he knew it, his small office had grown into a multi-million dollar business with thousands of employees. He has offices in many parts of the world including Asia, Europe and Australia.

Before making his move into finance, Shah was thinking of becoming a doctor. He even went to school for it. But after much thought, he decided that field wasn’t for him. Finance turned out to be the field that made him happy and wealthy. He has no regrets about turning his back on a medical career.

Today, Shah spends much of his time with his other project: Autism Rocks. This fundraising musical project was created in 2011, after his youngest son was diagnosed with autism. The charity has raised millions of dollars each year towards autism research. Famous musicians from all over the world have donated their time towards the effort. “Today, Autism Rocks has my complete focus,” said Shah.

After his son was diagnosed, Shah wasted no time getting his son the help he needed. He has the best psychologists, speech pathologists and physical therapists. Shah is also aware that the average family cannot afford the same treatments. But he intends to do everything in his power to help autistic children and their families have as normal a life as possible.

Smile: People Will Wonder What You are Thinking

Avi Weisfogel DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) kicks off a GoFundMe campaign for Operation Smile in March 2016. Avi practices dental surgery at Old Bridge Dental Care in Old Bridge New Jersey. He describes himself as a local boy, spending most of his life in New Jersey. He attended New York University College and graduated in 1997. He completed his residency at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Brunswick New Jersey. He is married and has six children.

In an interview Avi said “I have always been a fan of nice teeth”. obviously this was the push to become a dentist, but he did not stop there. Avi is a self- proclaimed “education enthusiast” and walks his talk. In the state of New Jersey dentists are required to take 40 hours of continuing education every other year. Avi takes 200 hours per year. If a better procedure is available, then he feels his patients deserve it.

When Avi decided to launch the campaign to help raise money for Operation Smile, it was almost the perfect marriage. Operation Smile is an International Medical Charity that provides free surgical procedures for kids, specifically cleft palate, cleft lips, and facial deformities. A cleft lip is an opening in the upper lip extending into the nose, a cleft palate is an opening in the roof of the mouth extending into the nose. Each lead to other complications obviously.

Operation Smile believes that every child deserves exceptional surgical care, they treat these children as if they are their own children. Bill and Kathy Magee founded this charitable organization in 1982. Over the years Operation Smile has connected with thousands of volunteers from 80 nations and have performed more than 220,000 free surgical procedures.

Avi remarked in an interview ” this organization wants to ensure that every child knows that whatever life throws at them, they will always have hope”. This is a doctrine existing in Avi’s own private practice as well, where he explains that 50% of the dental implant patients he treats have been told that for them dental implants were not possible, by other dentists. Avi Weisfogel provides hope.

Many investors are limited in their access to certain types of investments, which depends on being an accredited investor and allows for more investment opportunity. With the accredited limitations, smaller investors are left with the riskier options for investing in the stock market.

Bustle Blogger Chooses WEN System for Healthy, Glossy Hair

Emily McClure has a daily battle on her hands and that’s dealing with fine, limp hair that frizzes. As a beauty contributor, she gets to try lots of amazing beauty products, so this time she was reaching for the WEN hair no-poo method to see if she could get bouncy, shiny Hollywood hair.
Emily kept a hair diary with hair photos for her 7-day hair challenge and posted them to

Emily was curious about Wen hair cleansing conditioners loved around the world. Chaz Dean had developed the unique and holistic way of caring for hair. Most women are unaware that regular shampoos and conditioners contain damaging chemicals that weaken strands. A WEN bottle of cleansing conditioner contains zero sulfates. It’s a system he is very proud of and one his celebrity clientele love and respect.

Emily decided on a daily AM wash with WEN in the shower. She noticed how thick and soft her hair appeared after she got into a routine of blow-drying and styling her shoulder length locks. Her facebook selfies showed gorgeous hair with bounce, and her girlfriends saw the difference.

If Emily stopped the routine and cleansed with WEN at night, she felt her hair was limp in the morning, and if she skipped the WEN wash altogether, her hair lacked manageability and seemed to get greasy quicker.

Once she returned to the simple WEN routine, her hair obeyed and delivered strong, non-frizzy, lustrous locks.

Maybe if Emily had used the suggested 16-24 pumps of WEN product for each wash for medium length hair, her style might have lasted for more hours. Emily chose only the minimum 10 pumps for short hair, because the product suggestion seemed excessive.

Other than that, Emily McClure believes that WEN is a winner, as long as you stay with the routine. Wen hair is available on the Guthy-Renker website. Buy the complete pack and get a discount.

Coworking Spaces Foster a New Renaissance

The Innovative Coworking Spaces of 15th-Century Italy

The 21st century’s work space can seem like a soul-sucking, dry environment, without any room for collaboration and less for imagination. We engage with work like it is a jail sentence where our ideas and speech must conform to strict guidelines. However, places like NextSpace and Google have created co-working spaces in which people collaborate to nurture different talents, techniques, and a little bit of friendly competition.

Piero Formica of Harvard Business Review reminds us that before there were co-working spaces there were Renaissance “bottegas” of 15th century Florence; workshops where various artists came together to nourish other artists and their ideas. They even included engineers, craftsman, sculptors, anatomists, mathematicians and architects among many others. The result of this collusion was a spring of knowledge that fostered innovation of aesthetic and social and economic values.

Formica explains that the “bottegas” were synergistic; each independent artist came together to ignite one wholly formed idea. Masters would reside over the work of others, to spot new talent, broker connections, and mentor younger artists but he would never control or as Formica puts it “define other’s work”.

According to Formica, “bottegas” had three major selling points; turning ideas into actions, fostering dialogue and facilitating the convergence of art and science. Firstly, they would help transform ideas into reality. Secondly, they in their own, 15th century way would network; share ideas and converse without limitation by company policy. And thirdly, they encouraged the trans-disciplinary work spaces where people of different specialties worked together, much unlike our compartmentalized work spaces today.

Formica believes that applying a Renaissance workshop structure to work spaces today will foster the same kind of growth, creativity and innovation we saw during the Renaissance.

Workville is a modern example of a 15th century “bottega”. It is located in New York near Times Square and Bryant Park. The co-working space offers move-in ready offices, shared offices and open desks, as well as cafes and three outdoor terraces to facilitate success of different businesses. Even the lovely building located at 1412 Broadway, 21st Floor is designed to foster a creative atmosphere.

The Renaissance ignited a change in human society, a change that brought innovation, enlightenment, and art to the world. With the creation of co-working spaces like Workville, ideas can merge to achieve successful businesses and maybe even progress social and economic values once again, perhaps even eliminating those dry, monochromatic work days.

Dr. Jennifer Walden Riding High as One of Top Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons in Texas

Her dad was a dentist and her mom a surgical nurse, and young Jennifer Walden knew at a young age that she wanted to choose a medical profession as well.

Today, the Texas native reigns as one of the most popular plastic surgeons across the United States.

The Austin hometown girl received her diploma from Anderson High School and then graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Jennifer Walden stood out from the rest of her class, achieving recognition early on with her medical doctorate and salutatorian ranking from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

Jennifer Walden completed her residency training in the Lone Star State and then headed to New York City. There she studied aesthetic surgery after being selected for a prestigious fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. During her time in New York City, Jennifer Walden was named associate of the world-renown aesthetic plastic surgeon, Dr. Sherrell Aston. She stayed in NYC for the next eight years.

The beautiful plastic surgeon got homesick for Texas, especially since deciding on motherhood. She became a single parent by choice and enjoys raising her fraternal twin boys Houston and Rex around family and friends in Austin.

Dr. Jennifer Walden has developed a major female base, because as a woman, she has compassion for those who suffer from body image problems. If a woman decides she would like a tummy tuck and breast lift following the birth of three children, Dr. Jennifer Walden understands and shows sensitivity to normal, everyday women who just want to sensibly return to their youth or pre-pregnancy state. In fact, she says the numbers don’t lie, in that 92% of cosmetic surgery patients are women.

Another great aspect to being a female plastic surgeon is in the comfort factor. Women are not intimidated or embarrassed to discuss cosmetic surgery or expose their bodies to a female surgeon like Dr. Jennifer Walden.

Dr. Jennifer Walden is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She also serves as Commissioner of Communications for the ASAPS and as a member of its Board of Directors.
